We have identified fraudulent websites, communication apps, and cryptocurrency-related applications that are impersonating APTO Inc. (“APTO”) by using our company name, logo, website content, and the names of our executives without authorization.

These websites, apps, and services are not affiliated with, operated by, or authorized by APTO in any way.

Please note that APTO does not contact individuals through personal messaging accounts or other unofficial channels to recruit workers, offer job opportunities, or conduct recruitment-related activities.

Beware of Requests for Payment

On the fraudulent websites identified to date, individuals may be led to believe that they have an employment or business relationship with APTO and are offered compensation for completing tasks online.

We have confirmed cases in which individuals are subsequently asked to make a deposit or additional payment in order to receive compensation or continue performing the tasks.

APTO will never ask individuals to make an upfront payment, additional payment, or cryptocurrency transfer in order to participate in work or receive compensation.

Please be especially cautious if you receive any of the following requests:

• You are asked to make a payment or deposit before starting a task.
• You are asked to make an additional payment in order to receive compensation.
• You are asked to send cryptocurrency.
• You are asked for money by someone claiming to be an APTO executive or employee.
• You are told that you have an employment or contractor relationship with APTO, but no formal contract or official process has been established.

Please do not send money or cryptocurrency or provide personal or financial information in response to such requests.

If You Have Been a Victim

If you believe you have been affected by one of these fraudulent websites or services, please contact the police or other appropriate authorities in your area.

We recommend keep records of any relevant evidence, including screenshots of the website, emails or messages exchanged with the other party, the company name, the individual’s name, ID, contact information, bank account details, payment records, and any other related materials.

Please note that APTO may not be able to assist with any damages or losses resulting from interactions with these fraudulent websites or services.
